There is no place like home. At MukiBaum, we are guided by this slogan in building a residential program that is accommodating, diverse and supportive.
The people we serve that participate in our Residential Programs suffer from a wide array of conditions that present particular challenges.
Our houses provide a great deal of support and care for the people we serve ensuring all their needs are met on a daily basis. Our residence teaches the people we serve, through life skills, routine and practices, to become more independent by involving them in many activities enhancing their skills to the best of their ability. Activities include: expressive arts therapy, sensory therapy, life skills such as cooking, shopping, independent living skills, and domestic skills as per the Multi-Focal Approach.
Within our residences, we focus a great deal on sensory integration, community integration and communication thus improving their quality of life.

Our Homes have features which include:
The people we serve are encouraged to participate in meal preparation as well as daily chores. Much like a family, the staff workers ensure a home environment and teach the people we serve responsibility. Often the residential staff engages the residents in recreational activities such as sports, table games and community events. Utilizing the Multi-Focal Approach, supports are based around each of the resident’s individual needs.
