Get Involved » Student Placements
MukiBaum Treatment Centres hosts a number of student placements from a multitude of university and college programs.
Currently, we accept students from numerous academic fields, including but not limited to: Social Work, Nursing, Rehabilitative Sciences, Expressive Arts Therapy, Developmental Service Worker, Child Youth Worker, and Social Service Worker. Students are supervised by a Program Supervisor or a professional member of the MukiBaum team.
The procedures to apply for a student placement are as follows:
- Browse through our web content and determine the program(s) of interest.
- Submit a resume and cover letter (stating the program of interest) to Human Resources.
- Human Resources will set up an interview with the student and Program Supervisor.
- If successful, the student must submit a Vulnerable Sector Police Screening and a MukiBaum Medical Form to the Human Resources Department in order to commence the placement.
If you are a student or a Program Coordinator requiring more information about placements, do not hesitate to contact a member of the Human Resources Department.
Summer Work Opportunities:
Every summer, MukiBaum Treatment Centres seek motivated and talented students to share their INnovative, INdividualized, and INspiring ideas through a paid summer placement.
We are now accepting applications for Program Assistants and Social Work Assistants. As per HRDC requirements, to qualify for the summer career program, in the summer of 2008, you must be a full time student in the preceding and proceeding academic year. Also, you must be under the age of 30 during the time of employment.
If you qualify and are interested in this opportunity, please forward your resume and cover letter to Jobs at MukiBaum.
