Are you looking for a FUN and CREATIVE way to complete your mandatory hours of Community Service?
MukiBaum is thrilled to introduce our new and exciting Third Party Community Program! This program offers your school the opportunity to run your very own charity event to help raise funds for children and adults with complex disabilities. From Bowl-a-thons to BBQs to Dances to Concerts, no event is too big or too small. This opportunity will provide you with fundamental leadership skills and event planning experience, but most importantly, it will teach the essential value of giving back to the community while making a difference in the lives of those in need.
MukiBaum understands the importance of supporting and developing Young Leaders. In the near future, we will be establishing a Young Community Leaders Council that will bring together a committee of Young Leaders, such as you, to discuss important issues with regards to community programs and services for people with disabilities. We feel that our Third Party Community Program will be an important first step to introduce students to the field of disabilities and to attain your feedback and suggestions with regards to the goals and terms of reference for the future Young Community Leaders Council.
Should you be interested, all you have to do is think about a fun and exciting charity event that you and your peers could successfully organize and put into action! Here are a few pointers to get you started:
- Download the Third Party Application Form. Be sure to check out our Third Party Slideshow for more information on how to run a third party event.
- Fill out the Proposal Form and fax it back to (416) 633-9255 Attn: MukiBaum Treatment Centres.
- Allow 2 weeks for a MukiBaum representative to contact you to discuss your idea.
